Chora Vadi With Green Peas & Spinach Gravy
Preparation:
1) Finely crush Tomatoes.
2) Thaw frozen Palak blocks.
3) On medium low flame, heat 3 tablespoon of Oil in non-stick pan.
4) Add Chora Vadi and saute till golden brown.
5) Remove in a bowl.
Cooking:
1) In same pan, on medium low flame heat 3 tablespoon of Oil.
2) Add Red Chilli Whole, Bay Leaf, Crushed Tomatoes, Turmeric Powder, Salt and stir well.
3) Cover & Cook for 2 mins.
4) Add Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala Powder, Thawed Palak, Washed frozen Green Peas, Salt and mix thoroughly.
5) Cover & Cook for 3 mins.
6) Add Amchur Powder, Sugar and stir well.
7) Add sauted Chora Vadi, 1.5 Cup of Water and turn on medium flame.
8) Cover & Cook for 10 mins. until required consistency.
Serve For: 4 Persons
Total cooking time: 40-45 mins.
Garnishing:
Garnish with Om Pudi & Serve hot with Deep Paratha.
